Dear Caren Customer

We attempted an update last Tuesday the 8th of June but rolled back because we were not satisfied with system performance.
We have optimized the performance and will perform the update this coming Monday the 14th of June at 11:00 GMT.

We anticipate that this will take up to 1 hour. This is a necessary system upgrade and we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

We are migrating the Caren system to a cloud hosting platform in order to improve the scalability of the system and take advantage of modern cloud services that will allow us future-proof the tech stack and develop the system faster in the future.

The following services will go offline momentarily for some period during the upgrade:

Caren Rental System UI
Caren Rental API
Caren Rental Widgets

We have chosen this timeframe for the upgrade based on planned deliveries (pick-up/drop-off) and bookings in the system and to minimize effect on operations and to ensure ample time for post-upgrade tasks that need to be completed and tested by the Caren team after the upgrade. We will to our absolute best to perform this upgrade as fast as humanly possible.

We encourage you to make any necessary arrangement in case you need to service customers during the upgrade and/or if you wish to provide notices to your customers for example on your websites, about possible service disruption in your booking engine during this.

Planned upgrade start time: 11:00
Planned upgrade end time: 12:00.

We will send reminder emails a few hours prior to the scheduled start time of the upgrade. A notification will also be sent out when the upgrade is about to start. Customers can monitor the progress of the upgrade on as well.
